We do not have to endure today what others had to endure in previous times, because they lit the path for us to follow. Awareness is the key. The human population currently only uses 2% of their awareness. If you used 10%, you would be called a genius. If you used 100%,you would be called a God. There is a method to achieve this, which is the same method used by all those who have achieved higher degrees of enlightenment. This method does not require religion, rituals, costumes, locations, starvation, suffering, twisting your body in unusual ways, etc.
