As someone involved in the recruitment sector for over 35 years moving up the ladder from consultant to CEO I followed the tried and tested way to do recruitment but when I sat back and looked at it with an open mind I began to see major flaws in all the things we were taught to believe.
I started to look at other service industry businesses that had transformed themselves to become market leaders, I studied alternative business models including agile, I applied my love of sport to evaluate what makes great teams so exciting, I looked at all the latest technology, challenged my thinking on hard wired standards in recruitment and spoke to leaders from within the industry and outside the recruitment bubble.


What I found out was that a lot of recruiters are doing the right things but they don’t convert the hard work into performance simply because they are approaching things from the wrong angle, and are just repeating the same mistakes time and time again with no way out.
My solution is to highlight simple changes to conventional recruitment methodologies and thinking that make huge positive differences. I use a combination of video content that shows you how to do it with clear point by point explanations as well as practical examples of how to implement and the benefits you get combined with ‘peer 2 peer’ discussion groups and 1-2-1 coaching with me personally.
I have been a member of the recruitment industry for over 35 years starting out as a consultant and working my way to CEO and Board Member of a number of large international recruitment companies.
My career started in Australia but I have lived and worked in South East Asia and for the last 25 years I have been predominantly UK based.
Since 2015 I have been committed to advising, coaching and supporting aspirational leaders and their businesses particularly those that are high growth or have the ‘X Factor’
In that time I have been responsible for hundreds of people in over 15 countries, the launch of innovative new products & services, managed high profile projects including recruiting for the Olympic Games and starting new recruitment agencies in China, identifying and adopting leading edge technology, coaching and mentoring some of the industry’s best and brightest people, leading successful performance turnarounds and sustained high growth businesses, sharing my experience as a speaker at conferences as well as serving the industry through my work with trade bodies and as a judge of sector awards.
I have always been driven by staying ahead of the game, challenging the status quo, trying to find better ways to do things and embracing the latest thinking to build better businesses and better people.
