Ghazal — Live Zoom Classes
The live Zoom classes focus on understanding and applying ghazal through guided explanation and vocal demonstration. All sessions explore the same ghazal, supporting depth of interpretation and clarity of expression.
Live Class 1 — Understanding Ghazal
This session introduces ghazal as a vocal form, focusing on its poetic structure, melodic shape, and stylistic principles. Attention is given to how words, meaning, and melody work together within classical boundaries.
Live Class 2 — Practical Singing and Expression
This session focuses on how ghazal is sung. Students observe phrasing, pronunciation, melodic movement, and expressive restraint, with emphasis on clarity of diction and controlled delivery of poetry.
Live Class 3 — Composition and Rhythm
Using the same ghazal, this class explores how melody and poetry are presented within rhythm. Students observe how timing, phrasing, and structure support expressive continuity without overpowering the text.
