As a black female Founder, I have had the privilege of heading up 5 exciting media, tech companies, as a CEO across the last 15 years. Of all my great successful experiences, the most daunting, frustrating, and extremely stressful component, was raising capital.

Before founding Yappa World Incorporated, I worked in the radio/TV broadcast industry as a producer/host, cultivating and learning the true art of conversations. Working with VH1, MTV, UK Living, SKY Digital, Word Network (USA), Trinity Broadcast Network (USA)
I emerged in the tech space in the UK in 2010, leading the new wave of short-form video clips to mobile phones, delivering a celebrity digital greeting product. By 2013, I continued innovating into my second venture, leading one of the first iterations of a live digital concert experience.
I was the Founder & President of JH2 Group Inc, a multi-media company, in the UK and USA. My role as President included innovating, developing and launching a digital Celebrity Fastcard, creating a credible destination site before transforming the product into a retail brand and successfully entering the retail marketplace with the product in over 35,000 retail stores worldwide: which included, HallMark, Claires Accessories, Clinton Cards, Walmart, Target, to name but a few..
I have developed and managed strategic partnerships with global agencies and companies such as; TicketMaster, LiveNation, Yuku.com, Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne, CAA, Microsoft, AEG Digital, Bravado, Universal Music Group Canada, Sony BMG UK, TurkCell mobile Services, plus a wealth of other entertainment agencies.
In 2015, I spearheaded Yappa, an audio & video conversational tool, a free-to-end user service for online communities worldwide to have audio/video conversations, discussions on line. Since its launch in March 2019, the Yappa tool has already garnered significant notoriety and is fast becoming the leader and first choice for publishers for audio and video interactions. Our partners include iHeart Media, Variety, Vox Media, Perez Hilton, The Hill, Black Entrepreneurs Day, to name a few
Jennifer has gone on to raise millions of dollars in startup capital.
